Town and Country Animal Clinic is looking for an enthusiastic Veterinarian for an immediate position to help transition the retirement of our current doctors. New graduates are welcome and encouraged to apply! Our professional and skilled support staff love their jobs, which is reflected in the passion for animal health they demonstrate every day. The employees share knowledge and experience and are always willing to help, which creates a happy team dynamic. The clinic has a low turnover of staff and several long-tenured team members. The clinic boasts a full dental suite and offers comprehensive dental services. There are two independent surgical suites, four exam rooms, digital radiology, and a Class IV therapeutic laser. Town and Country have a strong working relationship with Greyhound Welfare, Guiding Eyes for the Blind, as well as local and national rescue groups. Located centrally in Montgomery County, Maryland, Town and Country Animal Clinic is conveniently equidistant to Washington, DC, Annapolis, and Baltimore, Maryland. The clinic sits on two acres in a historic area of Olney, which blends small-town charm with modern amenities and attractions. With 33 parks, very little crime, and endless entertainment opportunities, the town has grown quickly into a cultural hub. Olney also possesses an excellent school system. The Chesapeake Bay is within an hour’s drive and the beaches of the Atlantic Ocean are fewer than three hours. Town and Country Animal Clinic is the oldest veterinary clinic in Montgomery County, celebrating 66 years. Originally a mixed animal practice, the clinic transitioned to exclusively small animals 30 years ago. Our clientele is well-educated, conscientious pet owners who pursue advanced diagnostics and treat their pets as well-loved family members. Dr. Walker has been a community activist for the 42 years she has practiced at Town and Country. She was also awarded the Maryland Veterinary Medical Association Lifetime Achievement Award for her work with the state association.
