Small Animal Internal Medicine Faculty Clinician

Seek enthusiastic clinicians with a passion for teaching to join our team to provide instruction, consultation and patient care at the Boren Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital. Will have an opportunity to actively participate in one-on-one training of veterinary interns and students as well as work alongside colleagues to provide the highest standard of veterinary care.

Full-time position with an excellent benefits package including a generous sign-on bonus, 4 weeks vacation, start-up funding for clinical equipment or research endeavors and office electronics. Funding support for conference (continuing education) travel is provided. Ability to do up to 4 weeks of consultation work outside our referral area is also included.

Positions offer opportunities to develop innovative teaching programs in the classroom and clinical setting and participate in collaborative research/scholarship activities if desired. Development of an internship or residency program will be highly supported.

Teaching hospital is well equipped to see a diverse caseload including minimally invasive procedures. A state-of-the-art, fully integrated minimally invasive surgical suite is under construction to complement the wide variety of existing equipment available.
