COMPANY OVERVIEW: Sand Road Animal Hospital, LLC is a full-service veterinary hospital that was established in 1987 by Dr. Dave Sandefer. Nestled in by the Berkshire Mountains we include a separate holistic healing center for alternative therapies as well as a retail store and recently remodeled pet resort. Throughout our campus, a sense of compassion and serenity can be felt. We are a four doctor AAHA accredited heart of service veterinary practice. Our doctors and staff are highly committed to their work and community. We offer our clients a personalized experience that allows us to have enduring long term relationships, bringing even deeper meaning to our work.

Responsibilities and Duties Include but are not limited to:

• Routine Wellness Care and Vaccines

• Full Medical Work-ups

• Surgical Procedures; Soft Tissue (orthopedic a plus)

• Blood & Plasma Transfusion

• Palliative Care

• Pain Management

• Advanced Digital Radiography

• Digital Dental Radiography Interpretation

• Dental Cleaning, Polishing, & Extractions

• Radiology and Ultrasound Interpretation

• In-House Lab Testing; Bloodwork and CBC interpretation

• Laser Therapy

• Blood Pressure Screening

• Glaucoma Screening

• End of Life Services

• Facilitate Telemedicine Consultations

• Referrals to Board-Certified Specialists

• Referrals to the Feed & Gift Store for dietary needs and supplements

• Referrals to the Pet Resort for Boarding, Grooming and Training Needs

• Referrals to the Holistic Care Center for Therapeutic Massage and Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine (TCVM)

Additional Information:
• Currently working at reduced hours; normal appointment hours are: Monday thru Friday 8am to 8pm, Saturday 8am to 4pm, Sundays 8am to 12pm Emergencies only.
• Due to COVID-19 we are currently seeing patients as curbside service appointments; all clients are screened prior to the appointments
• Staff is required to wear required PPE on campus
• All cleaning processes have been highlighted
