WAVERLY ANIMAL HOSPITAL BOARDING GROOMING & WELLNESS CENTER is a privately owned small animal clinic that strives to always provide the finest in veterinary care to pets brought to our facility and to be kind and considerate to their owners.
We express tenderness and a caring attitude to clients and fellow co-workers. We emphasize full service through a responsive, dedicated, and communicative staff committed to individual attention and community service.
Our vision is to exceed the expectations of the client in each and every service we perform using our Core Values, in order to expertly care for the patient during its entire life stage. Our facility and procedures have been accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association for 50 years - since 1970. In 2019 we were voted “Top Of The Town Veterinary Services” by Greater Lansing residents!
We are equipped with state-of-the-art digital radiography, dental digital radiography, ultrasonography, dedicated surgery & dental suites, IDEXX blood chemistry, IDEXX hematology, Idexx Sedivue, Cubex, cold laser, & underwater treadmill.
We are a supportive and fun team of over forty individuals across multiple departments, all of which have diverse backgrounds, knowledge, and experiences.
We focus on employee engagement and promote a positive workplace culture through employee perks, activities, and incentives.
Our multi-doctor practice provides a great work-life balance for ample time to fulfill interests outside of the practice with rotating partial and full weekend shifts, and no “on call” services.
Lansing is a city bustling with growth and opportunities - come and see!
Our five doctor practice provides a supportive, collaborative work environment in order to learn, grow, and teach each other.
We rotate duties for our veterinarians between outpatient care, surgical procedures, and dental procedures, so you never have the same day twice! We encourage and support the cultivation of our staff’s special interests.
We utilize electronic medical records and texting services to make communicating with clients easier.
We care about our staff as much as we care about our patients, therefore, we are currently offering only curbside appointments (no clients have been in the building since March), due to COVID-19. We also require all staff to wear face masks and engage in frequent hand sanitizing at this time.
