Our mixed animal hospital is a long standing practice that was established sometime in the 1950's. We are a small community oriented practice located at the base of the Beartooth Mountains in Montana. Life balance is very important to our team in this outdoor mecca. Excellent snow skiing, hiking, fly fishing, white water rafting and sight seeing are just a few of mother natures amenities in this part of Montana.
We are seeking a team member that has self discipline, is humble and respectful. We love our clients and expect our new veterinarian to treat them like family as we do.
The owner of the practice is a boarded equine surgeon that has a winter practice in Arizona, then returns in the summer to Red Lodge to serve this practice as well as outlying general practices in Montana and Wyoming.
The candidate selected for this position will work with the semi-retired resident veterinarian and current office staff to maintain a positive and productive work environment. Our case load is small animal and equine. Good small animal experience would be desired with an agriculture background or basic horse knowledge. We welcome new client/ species development.
As a member of our practice; you will be expected to be active in our community. There are numerous ways to be involved in Red Lodge from children's programs, church events, civic events, environmental groups, athletic groups, etc.
We have small animal and equine surgical suites, offering general surgery, arthroscopy, laparoscopy, fracture repair, ACL stabilization, and CO2 surgical laser. In house lab consist of Abaxis chemistry analyzer, in house cytology and UA capability with the remainder of laboratory work outsourced.
Experience in small animal and/or equine practice with an open mind and self discipline for continued learning.

Additional Salary Information: Commissions are available pending income production.
