We believe that being a veterinarian is about connecting with people and helping pets live a healthy, happy life; especially during that precious final stage. We also believe it’s possible to love your job even when a client is sad, and that assisting a family through the passing of their pet is one of the most rewarding aspects of this amazing profession. If you agree then this is a unique opportunity for you! Lap of Love is seeking an empathetic, self-motivated doctor with excellent communication skills and bedside manner in the Northern Virginia area. We are dedicated to the compassionate end of life care and our practice focuses solely on veterinary hospice and in-home euthanasia. You have the opportunity to work on a mobile basis helping grateful families in their home in this rewarding area of veterinary medicine. We have gained recognition and respect in the area by being available on short notice, and families are extremely appreciative to have you when they need you most! Simply put, with the right personality, you will not find a more rewarding aspect of veterinary medicine.
We have been established in the area since 2013 and are a well respected end of life care practice. While we work for a larger group, we are locally operated and have a small team of vets, manager/technician, and our own VCC team.
