Would you like to work in a practice that has owners that understands the importance of a practice manager in the structure and culture of a veterinary practice? Are you interested in being able to focus on staff training and systems management rather than sitting around crunching numbers for hours at a time? Would you like to work in a community located in a truly beautiful part of our country (on Puget Sound, surrounded by mountains, parks and recreation opportunities)? Is your and your family's quality of life more important to you than sitting in traffic or dealing with the city hustle and bustle? Would you like to be close to a cultural city (Seattle) without being too close? If these things sound good to you, we should talk.
We are looking for an experienced practice manager that can work with some of the systems we have functioning well and improve the practice in ways we haven't even thought of yet. We have a well organized and budget-conscious inventory and staff scheduling system. We have written job descriptions and roles for everyone in the practice. We also have a practice consultant/CPA accounting firm already doing the bulk of our bookkeeping and KPI analysis. We need a manager who can focus on our staff and human resources needs (training systems, staff meetings, ongoing performance reviews, and growth planning, hiring, etc.) as well as work with our practice systems in an ongoing way to improve efficiency and flow while working to make the client and patient experience exceptional. We also would like to a manger that can help with marketing and social media platforms to make sure we stay relevant as the technology and the way clients interact with the practice change over time.
We are working on our AAHA accreditation and Fear Free Certification and should have both by the middle of the summer. We have a medically progressive, well equipped, two location practice that employs 5 Associate DVMs. We have a mix of full and part-time staff that number currently at 26 (6 LVT, 8 CSRs, 10 VA, 2 TA). We are fairly tech-savvy and use cloud-based management software and Smartflow integration. We also utilize App-based staff communications (Slack) and scheduling (When I work). The practice management is currently being done by the owner/medical director (Jeff Highbarger, DVM) but as we have grown significantly, he would prefer to focus more on providing surgical and medical services while mentoring younger associates.
We can offer:

Flexible and generous time off to enjoy our beautiful area or travel if you like.
Health, Vision, Dental, Life Insurance Package
401K with company match
