Friendship Hospital for Animals, in beautiful Fort Collins, Colorado at the foot of the Rocky Mountains, is seeking an associate or managing doctor to be an active part of our family and help lead our talented team of doctors and dedicated support staff. Established in 1997, we are an AAHA accredited, 4-doctor, small animal (and some exotics) practice that focuses on providing the highest standard of client and patient care. Our hospital specializes in comprehensive canine and feline dentistry, diagnostic excellence, innovative pain management, urgent care, hospitalization, laser therapy, surgical services, dental prophylaxis and surgery, diagnostic imaging and ultrasound, all with a Fear-Free focus for patients. Job Summary The Managing Doctor is responsible for providing medical leadership for the hospital, managing associate veterinarians, and assuring regulatory compliance relating to the practice of veterinary medicine. The Managing Doctor is also responsible for creating an environment of teamwork in which quality medicine and exceptional client service are delivered. In partnership with the Hospital Manger, the Managing Doctor is responsible for the financial performance and general operations of the hospital under the guidance of Divisional Leadership. In addition, the Hospital Manager and Managing Doctor are responsible for cultivating a supportive and collaborative team environment.
