| Kulshan Veterinary Hospital is looking for a FT veterinarian to join our LA staff. We are a team oriented fifteen doctor practice with a large animal team and small animal team. We are located in beautiful NW Washington where there are many trails and parks for hiking and biking, skiing at Mt. Baker, fresh and salt water adventures, arts and theater and more. Rural atmosphere within 20 minutes from larger City of Bellingham, 1 hour to Vancouver B.C. and 1.5 hour to Seattle. We are seeking a large animal practitioner with accomplished equine skills. We work with a wide array of horses including Western competitive and pleasure, dressage, hunter-jumper, Standardbred, and a variety of draft breeds. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with patients and their owners promoting health and welfare of animals. Good communication skills with clients and staff are essential. Our team strives to provide high quality care to our community and to be a place where every client and staff member is treated with respect. We actively support continuing education for our staff and our clients. Applicant should be skilled with equine lameness and farrier issues and be comfortable working with bovine, small ruminants, camelids, and swine. We work as a group to help care for all species and strive to work as a team. We value work-life balance for our veterinarians and staff. Salary includes base plus emergency fees.
