We are the largest facility in the area that is devoted exclusively to the care of small animals, and our hospital enjoys a superb reputation in our community. We have served Talbot and adjacent counties for over thirty years, and a large percentage of our clients have been referred by word-of-mouth. We treat pocket pets on a regular basis, and one of the doctors has a special interest in reptiles and amphibians. Another associate has a passion for feline medicine. Our doctors are encouraged to create their own niche.
A new associate must have a solid knowledge of medicine and a desire to develop their skills in surgery and dentistry. Ideally, he or she will have a strong interest in general surgery and ultrasound. Good communication skills are essential because we value a close rapport between our doctors and our clients.
