Our thriving, small animal practice is looking to add another Veterinarian to the team.
We are located near State College, Pennsylvania which offers unlimited outdoor activities, a quiet community and scenic environment. Our hospital provides a full-range of high quality, compassionate care for dogs and cats. Diagnostic capabilities include dedicated radiology and surgical suites, including digital radiography/digital dental radiography and ultrasound, complete IDEXX in-house laboratory, AVImark practice management software supports our ?paper-lite? environment. In addition to dogs and cats, we see small mammals (rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas, ferrets, rats, etc.).
We focus on Fear Free skills and certifications for all staff. No evening/weekend emergencies or on call.
Experience preferred however newer graduates with basic dental and surgery skill welcome to apply.Other ideal attributes include: excellent client communication skills, self-motivation, initiative, and attention to detail. A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, or equivalent, from an accredited university is a must as well as licensure in good standing to practice in the state in which applicant is to be employed.
