As a practice we support and encourage participation in organized veterinary medicine, CE and community events. Large animals haul in as well as call us for ambulatory service. Our veterinarians collaborate daily to ensure the highest quality of patient care possible. We are equipped with both small animal and equine DR digital radiography, sonosite portable ultrasound, equine power float, high speed dental unit with digital radiography, tonometry, and both 3 and 1.5m endoscopes and surgical capabilities that include small animal orthopedics and bone plating. Staff development includes continual training/education and our staff to doctor ratio is 4:1. Our ideal candidate has experience and enjoys the variety of mixed animal practice. Uvalde is conveniently located only 20 minutes from the Frio river and the beautiful Texas Hill Country and only 1.5 hours to San Antonio. Beautiful place to live. We are closed on Saturdays and rotate call until 9pm weekdays and weekends. A technician always available during after hours calls.
