The Vail Valley Animal Hospital and ER is looking to hire a Certified Veterinary Technicians. We are a progressive multi-doctor, state-of-the-art practice that offers two convenient locations, 24 hour emergency and critical care services, boarding, general small animal practice, and specialist diagnostics and procedures on site. To be considered, veterinary technicians must be competent with IV catheter placement, venipuncture, administering injections, radiology, surgery & dentistry (including calculating medication dosages, intubations & anesthesia monitoring), and reading fecal, ear cytology & urinalysis slides. Veterinary technicians should be comfortable assisting the veterinarian in exam room situations with cats and dogs and be eager to provide thorough client education on a variety of topics.
Generous salary including benefits is negotiable based on experience and availability. Relocation package available. Benefits include: Group Health Ins, 401k retirement, paid vacation and sick leave, at cost veterinary care, CE and dues allowance. Salary will be based on experience and/or availability.
