Angell, founded in 1916, is recognized internationally as a leader in animal medicine and provides leadership in patient care, education, scientific innovation and Angell enjoys a reputation as one of the finest veterinary teaching hospitals in North America. Angell servers the greater Boston and scenic New England area as a primary care facility, a 24-hour emergency hospital, and as a tertiary referral center. We offer specialty services in dentistry, pain medicine, acupuncture, surgery and anesthesia, avian and exotic medicine, animal behavior, cardiology, dermatology, diagnostic imaging (CT, MRI, Ultrasound), emergency and critical care medicine, general medicine, internal medicine, neurology and neurosurgery, nutrition, medical and radiation oncology, and ophthalmology and Pathology. Angell contains a state-of-the-art critical care unit, a TrueBeam linear accelerator delivering advanced forms of radiation therapy including stereotactic radiation and IMRT, a well-stocked blood bank, multiple specialty rooms, 7 surgical suites, an intermediate care ward, a newly renovated I-131 ward, and numerous general care and isolation wards. We are an AAFP-certified Gold Standard Cat Friendly Practice.

Education: Some college required; AS/BS degree in an from an accredited Veterinary Technology program or related field of study preferred
Experience: Minimum of 6 months assistant/technician experience required; CVT preferred
Education: A Minimum of an Associate’s degree from a related field is required to work as an Assistant, a Bachelor’s degree is preferred. If you are a recent graduate of accredited Veterinary Technology program
To be hired as a Technician, you must be a Certified Vet Technician (CVT).
Experience: Extensive previous Animal handling experience is required for this position.
