We are seeking a confident, compassionate, highly skilled full-time veterinarian to join our healthcare team at Suffolk Animal Hospital and become part of our family. You will be free to utilize your extensive diagnostic capabilities and veterinary knowledge to help train our upcoming technicians and assistants and guide them to reach their fullest potential, while helping to heal pets and educate the local owners. We are looking for a self-starter who is dependable, energetic, and willing to teach, learn, and excel. Strong interpersonal skills, excellent client service skills, and high-level communication skills are required.
You will enjoy working in our well-equipped facility that is continuously being updated. Our practice has a special interest in utilizing your surgical expertise. From basic spays and neuters to more extensive exploratory surgeries, you will be able to see patients through from the initial exam to the final discharge. With over 2,500 active clients, our 1.5 doctor practice provides a bond-centered environment that is exciting and professionally challenging while still maintaining our focus on client and patient service. We offer new, innovative solutions to preventative care objections such as Wellness Plans--a first in the city of Suffolk offered by a non-corporate hospital. Through the use of digital radiology, multi-modal anesthetic monitors for every patient under anesthesia, and an extensive network of in house diagnostic equipment, we provide exceptional care for our patients. In general, our growing practice is looking to continue reaching as many of our local clients and patients as possible by adding a passionate veterinarian who is looking for a place to call home. We provide a flexible work schedule, attractive compensation and benefit package. Email resume and cover letter to email@example.com
