Emergency Animal Hospital of NW Austin (EAHNWA) is seeking an enthusiastic veterinarian to join our emergency/critical care team. We are a privately owned, VECCS accredited emergency hospital with two locations in the Austin area. Both locations have a deep inventory and are well equipped to support our patient’s needs for emergency diagnostics and critical care with services that include surgery, blood transfusions, fluid support, oxygen therapy, digital radiography, ultrasounds, in-house lab work, etc.
We provide progressive, high quality medicine and staff our hospitals with the best emergency veterinarians, technicians and criticalists in the community. EAHNWA is growing and we seek a candidate that possesses strong clinical, surgical and diagnostic skills. Since we are dedicated to providing compassionate care to our patients and their owners in an efficient manner, we also require a quick thinking, multi-tasking personality with good communication skills. A collaborative nature is key for working with our emergency team and in partnership with referring veterinarians. Applicants must be available for overnight, weekend and holiday shifts. Emergency veterinary skills are preferred, but all applicants will be considered.

A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, or equivalent, from an accredited university.
Texas Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners (TBVME) licensure in good standing.
Professional demeanor, with excellent communication skills and a team oriented attitude
Strong clinical, surgical and diagnostic skills with the ability to make quick decisions in an emergency environment
Flexibility in scheduling to include overnights, weekends and holidays
