Our caseload is primarily dogs and cats with an occasional pocket pet. Living in Alaska we tend to see a fair bit of trauma along with our medicine cases. Competence in routine companion animal surgery, diagnostics, and therapeutic techniques is required. Additional CE/training in surgery, ultrasound, or other therapeutic techniques, etc... is encouraged given we have few specialists in Alaska. After hours emergency call is shared amongst 4 DVMs. Ability to work well with other team members and share cases & ideas is a must. New graduates welcome to apply.
