All Pets Clinic is under new ownership and is growing! Located in Ocala, FL, we are seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join our team!
We are currently a one doctor practice that is quickly growing after a change in ownership and is in need of another associate. We are located in the heart of Ocala just east of downtown in a leased facility with 3 exam rooms, treatment area, and surgery suite. We also have a large doctors’ office, staff lounge, kennel space for boarding and patient housing. We offer advanced diagnostics including ultrasound, endoscopy, and a video otoscope. We have digital radiography and digital dental radiography as well as new anesthesia monitoring equipment, IV pump, and tonometry. For a one doctor practice we have a lot of tools we can utilize to benefit our patients. As the business is expanding, we are in need of an additional doctor that can continue to provide excellent care and enhance our offerings. Someone that can provide new services or expand on what we currently provide is a plus (exotics, orthopedics, internal medicine). We are also paper light and use a Cloud based electronic medical records system that can be accessed anywhere internet is available.
Our team is very cohesive and well trained; new employees have access to ACT training online to enhance their skills. We strive to provide the standard of care for our patients. We have a local ER through the University of Florida for after hours care and emergencies (no on-call requirements). We are in close proximity to the University of Florida for us to refer cases, as well as other specialists in Gainesville, Orlando, etc.
Our hospital is well-equipped with:
IDEXX in-house lab including CBC, chemistry, electrolytes, and UA
Diagnositic imaging utilizing: digital radiography, digital dental radiography, ultrasound
Endoscopy, Tonopen, EKG, and blood pressure
Heated adjustable tables, fluid pumps, cautery, high speed drill for tooth extractions
Some orthopedic surgical equipment and intruments
Small mammal dentistry equipment

A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university.
Licensure in good standing to practice in the state in the State of Florida.
Decision making and communication skills

Upholding the veterinary code of ethics.
Develop a relationship with clients and develop treatment plans
Perform physical examinations and surgical procedures while delivering the highest quality care
Utilize low stress animal handling techniques
Communicate physical exam findings to the client; develop a treatment plan; educate clients on preventative health care, including vaccines and appropriate nutritional products.
Maintain patient medical records as required by FL state law, making certain all necessary logs are kept up-to-date through established protocols;
Meet state requirements for continuing education
