Carolina Veterinary Specialists (CVS) is seeking board certified or board eligible ophthalmology applicants for our growing practice group. This position would be located in our Winston Salem practice.
Our 10,000 square foot hospital in Winston Salem is equipped to offer state of the art diagnostic and surgical procedures, and features in-house helical CT, on-site MRI, color-flow doppler ultrasound, digital radiography, endoscopy, laparoscopy, complete anesthetic monitoring, and in-house laboratory capabilities.
State of the art diagnostic and surgical procedures include:
Removal of cataracts via phacoemulsification with foldable prosthetic lens replacement
Glaucoma treatment (gonioscopy, goniovalves, diode trans-scleral laser cyclophotocoagulation, and chemical ablation)
Corneal surgery (keratectomy, keratotomy, conjunctival and corneal grafts)
Oculoplastic surgery (entropion, eyelid masses, third eyelid surgery, ocular trauma)
CT and MRI Scanning

CVS operates 5 full-service, 24-hour-a-day emergency & specialty referral facilities in North Carolina, with locations in Huntersville, Charlotte, Matthews, Greensboro, and Winston-Salem. We also have a new location coming this fall in Rock Hill, South Carolina. Each location provides multiple referral specialties, as well as 24 hour emergency and critical care.
