Veterinary Tech (LVT or RVT) needed for full time position at St. Rose Animal Urgent Care
Must be able to work nights and weekends as well as holidays.
Must be able to lift 65lbs
Must be proficient in Venipuncture, IV catheter placement, anesthesia induction and monitoring, medical record keeping, client communication and examinations, vaccine administration, medication administration via inj or oral, surgical set up and surgical pack care, dental prophylaxis and dental extractions as approved by state law, veterinary diets, veterinary terminology, knowledge of Ultrasound and Radiograph handeling and positioning, basic pharmecology, UA microscopic evaluation, Ear swab and cytology evaluation, fecal floatation set up and microscopic evaluation, smap tests, running in house blood work, Cornerstone proficient or able to learn quickly etc.
Must be able to drive limo to and from locations to provide services as directed by veterinarian.
Must have reliable transportation to work
Must have proof of State Lisence
Must be able to work flexible schedule
Must be able to take drug test and pass background check
Must have at least 3 references in Veterinary Field
Additional Salary Information: Depending experience wages are negotiable
