Town & Country Animal Clinic has an exciting career opportunity for an associate veterinarian wishing a join an AAHA accredited veterinary team. We are looking for a well-rounded veterinary associate with excellent people skills, self-motivated, and confident. Our clinic is located in the Appalachian Mountains of Southeastern Kentucky, in the city of Hazard. The area is noted for its abundant outdoor recreational activities. Numerous State parks, lakes, fishing, hunting, camping, horse and ATV trails, zip lining, and numerous other activities abound in the region. The location is also an easy commute to the large metropolitan areas of Lexington, Louisville, Knoxville, and Cincinnati. The practice is furnished with state of the art equipment: Cornerstone computer software, complete in-house Idexx lab, digital x-ray, ultrasound, vet videoscope system, Cardell surgical monitor, Heska IV infusion pumps, doppler bp, tonometry, isoflurane anesthesia, low level laser system, intensive care and recovery units with heat/oxygen, well-equipped surgical suite with CO-2 surgical laser. We have excellent support staff. Predominately small animal, with a small amount of avian and exotics. We are proud to be among the 12% of animal hospitals to receive AAHA accreditation in the USA and Canada. We are one of the few AAHA practices in Kentucky and the only AAHA practice in Southeastern Kentucky.
