St. Charles Veterinary Hospital, an AAHA accredited hospital, is expanding! We are looking for two technicians to work during the week, with rotating weekends. St. Charles Veterinary Hospital sees many different species, including cats, dogs, avians, and exotics. Exotic experience is not required-we will teach you! This is a fast paced multi- doctor practice that wants "Team- Players!" You must be willing to learn new things including telemedicine, Idexx blood machines, and Avimark software. We offer continuing education and certificate programs as well as paid vacation, holidays, sick time, health insurance, uniform allowance and regular pay increases with increased knowledge base and time. The ideal candidate(s) would have some experience and be willing to learn. Some college (preferred) or experience in small animal practice is a plus. You must be able to lift up to 40 lbs., be proficient in communication in English, and have computer experience.

Additional Salary Information: The starting salary will vary with experience and job title and will be adjusted with clinical skills and continuing education, emergency shifts earn $2.00 more than base pay per hour.
Four doctor state of the art small animal, avian, and exotic practice. Completely paperless system (Avimark) with ALL digital equipment. Telemed, Lasers, Idexx in house blood analyzers, and digital radiographs are all part of the practice. The practice is active with Wings of Flight Birds at Disney Animal Kingdom as well as primates, ferrets, large cats, llamas, reptiles, and exotic hoof stock ...to name a few. We are the only facility state authorized and permitted to accept and treat Florida's wildlife in the Central Florida area.
